Katie Glassman - violin and vocals, M'hamed El'mendra - Guitar, Gabriel Mervine - Trumpet, Charlie Mertens - Bass, Mark Emmons - Drums.

The band is based around the gypsy jazz music of Django Reinhart.  National Fiddle Champion, Katie Glassman studied in France for 1 year under Didier Lockwood (the start violin student of Django's violinist Stephane Grappelli).  Falling in love with Gypsy jazz, she returned to the U.S. and connected with the dynamic rhythm and gypsy guitarist M'hamed El'mendra of Morocco.  Together they have created tight arrangments and danceable tunes.  The stylistic trumpeter Gabriel Mervine has brought swing and dixieland genres to the band.  With Charlie Mertens on bass and Mark Emmons on drums, the band engages the audience with a variety of energetic jazz styles.  Incorporating French and swing vocals, the band has a colorful range of sounds.
